Despite of the timetable the lighthouse was closed with no information why. I have asked builders nearby and they told me that it was open in the morning but some hours later they went home 🤷🏻♀️ I felt very disappointed. I was driving so far and didn’t suppose to overnight. I wish people working at the lighthouse to be a little bit more responsible
Great spot of exploration. There's was a museum segment and lots of information placards about the lighthouse and surrounding area. A ticket purchase allowed access to climb the lighthouse tower which provided an awesome viewpoint. Well worth the drive, do recommend.
I always love going to Cape Agulhas. The views are always incredible and I enjoy the walk along the beach. The wooden path is very easy to walk for the whole family, although one must be careful at times as some parts are starting to wear off...
